Tips on Drinking Water

Updated: Jan 16

The daily recommended intake of water is half your body weight in fluid ounces. If you are having trouble meeting that because you aren't a big water drinker.... here are a few tips to help increase your consumption:

-Herbal tea is a water substitute. So you can count your cups of your favorite herbal tea!! Make sure its caffeine free and sugar free.

-Flavor your water with fresh fruit or herbs.

- Eat fruit that is full of water, such as cucumbers and watermelon.

-Buy yourself a water bottle that you love and are excited about! You are more likely to drink if you love the bottle! 😊

*Something to keep in mind when consuming caffeine or coffee. For every cup of coffee (an 8 ounce cup can have about 70-150 milligrams of caffeine), you need to drink 16 ounces of water to replenish your body.

Stay hydrated my friends!
